ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Release Date

During CES in Las Vegas, ASUS officially submitted its Eee Transformer Pad, a tablet from the very particular characteristics. The news today is that the marketing will begin in earlier than expected, with the distribution of the first devices as early as March 25, starting from the small territory of Taiwan. As regards technical characteristics, the transformer will have a 10.1 inch screen and a powerful dual-core chip NVIDIA Tegra 2. The Android operating system will be in version 3.0 Honeycomb, on which ASUS will most likely apply custom interface slightly, while the allocation of memory provides 1GB of DDR2 RAM and 16 or 32 GB for data storage.

As the name implies Transformer, it will be a product that can change form. The most expensive model will in fact on the market along with a docking station with keyboard, which will turn it into a true netbook. There are no official news on the price of marketing for the European market, but it seems that the price will fluctuate between 399 and 700 € depending on the configuration.
