After rumors of recent weeks, LG has officially released the official features of its new LG Optimus smartphone LTE2, a product of the highest market segment and that, given the hardware equipment, could very well put sticks in the wheels also the latest competitive products, Samsung Galaxy S3 Incorporated. Pity that, at the moment, the market is expected only in South Korea.
View the product’s goodness, though, it seems really hard that sooner or later no landings in Europe and in the rest of the world. At the time, however, any prediction would be the result of mere speculation, then it is better to concentrate on its hardware features, which as mentioned are of a high standard. The processor is a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 Krait S4 with a maximum clock frequency of 1.5 GHz. However, don’t be fooled by the fact that this chip present only two cores, as his performances are supported by 2 GB memory. The speed of the system and its computing power could potentially be equal to those of the opponents equipped with quad core, though obviously at this time a real comparison without having in hand the equipment is not possible.
The rest of the equipment is really interesting. The graphics system managed by the operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwiches will be handled by a GPU Adreno 220 and the results will be displayed on a really big screen, which will present a 4.7 inch diagonal TrueHD IPS technology. The resolution from 1280 × 720 pixels will allow watching HD movies. Excellent also the cameras, perfectly in line with the market premium: the main to take the images will have a sensitivity by 8 Megapixels, while the front camera for videofonate and the like will come up to 1.3 megapixels. The marketing of the new LG Optimus LTE2 in South Korea should begin within days and according to the latest advances should cost around $ 800, approximately 630 € return current.
