We learn in passing that the Sony Kumquat Android 4.0 ICS should offer a touch screen 3.5 “(resolution 854 × 480), NovaThor U8500 dual core processor at 1 GHz, 5 megapixel camera with video capture in 720p HD, WiFi, Bluetooth, all in a box thinner than the Xperia S.
The new Sony Kumquat could be marketed as Sony Xperia U, the last name noted in an internal document. Its formalization is expected in the MWC 2012, a release date in the spring at a price of 262 euros.
