Sony Xperia SL has rumors every network during the past few weeks, it seems that it should be presented at IFA 2012 and is the successor to the Sony Xperia S launched in February and presented at the Mobile World Congress 2012. LT26ii, this is the theme song of the new Android smartphone made in Sony posing for the first time ever to GSMArena. You notice immediately how the device keeps the exact same design as the Xperia’s younger brother to renew but this only minimally in hardware. In fact, the anonymous source who provided the device, said that the hardware industry is virtually the same as that of the Xperia ‘s.
The only difference you encounter is under the shell. In fact, there is a dual-core processor Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon S4 that operates at a frequency higher than the standard 1.7 GHz or 1.5 Ghz instead. The display is identical, in that the front panel is by 4.3 inches and comes with HD resolution (1280 × 720 pixels). Also RAM and internal memory remains the same: 1 and 32 GB. On the back, the Sony Xperia SL, features a 12 megapixel camera with LED flash and front camera from 1.3 megapixel. Of course, even soft-touch buttons at the bottom of the device are identical to those of the Xperia ‘s. In essence, it’s a Sony Xperia’s slightly more powerful thanks to the clock frequency slightly higher.

The other and only difference between Xperia Xperia S and SL is software. The Sony Xperia SL already has aboard Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. We hope that the differences are a lot more of these that are leaked, because for users there would be absolutely no reason to change the Xperia’s with the Xperia SL. We await more information that will surely come when the 29 August Sony will present officially its new devices at IFA 2012.
